Prof. Dave Towey

Introduction:Prof. Dave received the BA and MA degrees in computer science, linguistics, and languages from the University of Dublin, Trinity College; the MEd degree in education leadership from the University of Bristol; and the PhD degree in computer science from The University of Hong Kong. He is a professor of Computer Science, and serves as the deputy head of the School of Computer Science, and the deputy director of the International Doctoral Innovation Centre. His current research interests include software testing (especially adaptive random testing, for which he was amongst the earliest researchers who established the field, and metamorphic testing), computer security, and technology-enhanced education. He co-founded the ICSE International Workshop on Metamorphic Testing in 2016. He is a fellow of the HEA, a senior member of the IEEE, and a member of the ACM.

Prof. Daowen Qiu

Sun Yat-sen University, China

Introduction: Prof. Qiu has been full professor of computer science in Sun Yat-sen University since 2004, and his research interests are focused on new computing models, quantum computing, distributed quantum algorithms, quantum models learning, quantum communication, fuzzy and probabilistic as well as quantum discrete event systems. He has published peer-reviewed over 200 papers in international journals. He is editors of some international academic journals, including Theoretical Computer Science.

Prof. João Gama

Introduction: Prof. João Gama is a Full Professor at the School of Economics, University of Porto, Portugal. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Porto in 2000. He is EurIA Fellow, IEEE Fellow, Fellow of the Asia-Pacific AI Association, and member of the board of directors of the LIAAD, a group belonging to INESC TEC. His h-index on Google Scholar is 67. He is an Editor of several top-level Machine Learning and Data Mining journals. He is ACM Distinguish Speaker. He served as Program Chair of ECMLPKDD 2005, DS09, ADMA09, EPIA 2017, DSAA 2017, served as Conference Chair of IDA 2011, ECMLPKDD 2015, DSAA’2021, and a series of Workshops on KDDS and Knowledge Discovery from Sensor Data with ACM SIGKDD, and ACM SIGAPP. His main research interests are in knowledge discovery from data streams, evolving data,  probabilistic reasoning, and causality. He published more than 300 reviewed papers in journals and major conferences. He has an extensive list of publications in data stream learning.
